This is the second instrument I have used the Salmon Trap Sitka and the tone, balance of the sound it produces is glorious.
This has some curl and a density that gives the guitar more balance and sustain.
This has the Mi-Si pickup with mic and volume control and is the first time I have used this pickup. It impressed everyone!
All Koa Tenor Ukulele with Ebony and Abalone accents. This ukulele has a lot of volume and clarity.
I have built a larger body baritone ukulele with a 23.25 inch scale and with the same body size a Terz guitar with a shorter 21.25 inch scale. The wood in the Baritone is Ancient Sitka and beautiful walnut back and sides. The Terz has a master grade Sitka top and rare figured Cherry. See the Gallery
I have built a 20 inch scale baritone with a paler shape body of normal size with maple burl rosette and tiger maple binding. This is a lighter and bright Koa with ebony radiuses fret board and LR Baggs pickup build for a special player. See the Gallery for more images.
As a side note the next ukulele on the table is a baritone cutaway with same body size but the longer scale of 23.25 inches. I have two 0-28vs parlors almost ready for custom orders. One with Ancient Sitka top and the other with Smokey Mountain spruce from a very old growth tree.
This is an all Mango Tenor with Birdseye maple fret board and a beautiful warm sound.
This has a 16 inch scale with a tenor body that allows you to play as a high G or 5 string. Intonation is terrific and the bridge is built to hide the string knots. Chuck was pleased beyond!
This is a custom Koa back and sides with Walnut binding and BWB purfling. The inlay was custom chosen by the owner and created by the famous Inlay Artist Harvey Leach. I added the Awabi shell logo and fret markers and built the guitar from scratch. The Fret board and Bridge are a beautiful Rosewood acquired 30 years ago. See the gallery for pictures.

This is a custom order with very specific neck requirements. The fun part of this build was having the older ukulele with the neck the customer likes and duplicating string spacing and thinner neck. This is the smallest neck I have made with a carbon fiber rod and bound fret board. The action is low and it plays like a dream.
It is a duplicate of the previous Tiger Maple Baritone with walnut biting and rosette. It came from the same tree with the pink in the center and there have been two Queen Anne Highboys made from the same tree. The tone is surprising with tremendous resonance. I enjoy making ukuleles to specific wishes as it seems to inspire a dance with the instrument that creates something special. This one will live in the Tennessee mountains though the tree came from Pennsylvania.
This is a special build with "The Tree" back and sides and a wonderful Redwood top. The fretboard is a special rosewood with a new moon and planet on the third fret. The sound is one I have to keep.
